About the Teachers

E-RYT 500KristinKHYF yoga teachera Ahern, E-RYT 500, has been exploring, learning and teaching the many gifts of yoga in the tradition of T. Krishnamacarya for over 13 years. This tradition emphasizes the importance of creating practices utilizing the many tools of yoga (beyond postures only) that meet the needs of individuals in a safe, empowering and respectful environment.... whether it be one-on-on instruction or group class instruction. Kristina weaves together postures, breath, sound and meditation in classes that are designed to inspire, open and illuminate the body and mind. In an effort to bring richness and authenticity to her own practice and teaching, she continues with her Yoga Therapy education (in support of her private session offerings)and with the ongoing study of Yoga philosophy. As a result of a deep appreciation for the meditative and healing effects of sound/chant, she is also participating in a 3 year Vedic Chant teacher training/immersion with the Vedic Chant Center under the guidance of Sonia Nelson. Kristina offers one-on-one and group instruction in this beautiful and inspiring discipline of Yoga.
